the WildernessA couple of years ago, Jagex added an area North of Varrock and Edgeville. They called this area
"The Wilderness". Before the Wilderness, RuneScape was a "pk/no-pk" area. You could be attacked wherever you went. There was
an option to turn it off/on. The Wilderness has expanded a lot over the years and months, and is big. The Wilderness
is sorted into sections, these are called levels. The higher the level of Wilderness, the more dangerous it is, but there
are more treasures. Now the Wilderness is a haven for wannabe pkers, there are few experienced pkers left, they stayed
with RuneScape Classic because the Combat System made Pking with classes easier, more on that later. With the introduction
of RuneScape 2, half of the Wilderness is Multi-Combat. This means that mega wars can be held, and you can form teams and
go adventuring. It is also said that the Wilderness is a kingdom, under control by Zamorak. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- B. The WildernessThis section has information on all of the
free-to-play Wilderness. It does not hold information of members priveledges that are in the Free-to-Play Wilderness. I.
A map of the WildernessPlease use this link to see the map of the Free Play Wilderness. Its in a link because of the
limited space I have on this guide, and because of loading times. F2p Map of the Wilderness:::::::::::::::::::: II. LandmarksThere are many Landmarks in the Wilderness for F2P. -------------------- Landmark
Name: Hill Giants Multicombat: Yes Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason for being popular: Many clans hang out here,
trying to "hold" the Hill Giants. Many people come here to PK as well. Hill Giants-------------------- Landmark Name: Chaos Temple Multi-Combat: Yes Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason
for being so popular: People come here to train prayer, and to recharge prayer. It is also a place where clans stop off to
recharge prayer. People also use this area for Deathmatches. Chaos Temple-------------------- Landmark Name: Dark Warrior Fortress MultiCombat: No, however the centre of it is. Wilderness
level of Landmark: 11-15 Reason for being so popular: People come here for collecting runes, and to train on the dark warriors,
because they drop black items. -------------------- Landmark Name: Greater Demon Hut Multi-Combat: Yes Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason
for being popular: The highest level monster in f2p is here, and the Greater Demon Hut is a traditional place for a war. Most
wars take place here. -------------------- Landmark Name: Rune Rocks Multi-Combat: No Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason for
being so popular: It is the ONLY place in f2p to mine runite. :::::::::::::::::::: III. MonstersI will eventually have ALL monsters here, that are in the wilderness.
This does NOT include Random events. If I don't have one here, and it definitely is in the Wilderness, feel free to PM me. Name:

Level and Location: Edgeville Wilderness Level 48 :::::::::::::::::::: IV. TownsName: Bandit
Camp Wilderness Level: Edgeville Wilderness Level ~16-22 This town is home to many Bandits. On entering the Camp, you
will be automatically attacked by Bandits. In here is a haven for cooking, just bring a net and fish anchovies, or kill the
giant rat, and go to the guy who sells Pizza Bases and he will sell you pizza bases for 30gp. Cheese and tomato can be found
on the table in that room. There is a general store that sells holy symbols, buckets, tinderboxes etc. There are also a couple
of everlasting fires in the camp. If you didn't bring enough money for pizza bases, just kill bandits until you do have enough
money. There is also a shop here. Bandit Camp Duty Free:::::::::::::::::::: V. OthersThere is a Lava Maze in high level wilderness that has a variety of
monsters to kill. These range from Lesser Demons, to Black Knights. There is an island South of the Greater Demons,
that has respawning Nature Runes. You can telegrab these easily, just be careful you don't accidentally walk into any wars
that may be going on. There is a graveyard that is perfect for ranging in. There are many zombies there, and a few
respawns of planks here as well. You could also use Crumble Undead on the Zombies here. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- C. The Wilderness(members)I. A map of Members Wilderness. Please
use this link to see the map of the Members Wilderness. Its in a link because of the limited space I have on this guide, and
because of loading times. Members Wilderness Map:::::::::::::::::::: II. LandmarksThere are many Landmarks in members Wilderness. I will
put the members ONLY ones here. -------------------- Landmark Name: Mage Arena Multi-Combat: No Wilderness
Level of Landmark: Reason for being so popular: The only bank in the wilderness is here. It is also part of a mini-game,
the mage arena. Many Pkers hang outside of the Mage Arena, waiting to kill the mages as they come out. After doing the mini-quest,
you get a staff, a cape, and you are able to use 3 new spells. There are a couple of webs that you need to cut in order to
pass. These are usually a perfect opportunity for Pk'ers to get you. -------------------- Landmark Name: Agility Training Area Multi-Combat: No Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason
for being so popular: EVERYONE who has the correct level, will train here. Its almost always crowded. Good Agility xp as well. -------------------- Landmark Name: Deserted Keep Multi-Combat: No Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason
for being so popular: This is the ONLY way of getting into high level Wilderness quickly. You will need a sharp object to
cut through the web. Many pkers hang here to try their luck against people coming here. -------------------- Landmark Name: Axe Hut Multi-Combat: No Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason for
being so popular: This area is the best place to train. It's also Damage Incorporated's "headquarters". -------------------- Landmark Name: Rogues Castle Multi-Combat: Yes Wilderness Level of Landmark: Reason
for being so popular: It's an easier way to get hold of a lockpick without buying it from someone, or going to the Rogue's
Den. It's also very good thieving XP. -------------------- Landmark Name: King Black Dragon Lair Multi-Combat: Yes Wilderness Level of Landmark:
Edgeville Wilderness level Reason for being so popular: Only place you will find the KBD is here. The actual lair isn't
Wilderness, so it has no wilderness level. -------------------- Landmark Name: Green Dragons Multi-Combat: No Wilderness Level of Landmark: Edgeville

Level and Location: Level 13 Wilderness(near Castle), This has not got all of the information yet. Will be coming
up real soon though. :::::::::::::::::::: IV. Mini-GamesMini-Games are a great part of RuneScape.
There are only 2 of these that can happen in the Wilderness. These 2 are: Treasure Trails Mage Arena Treasure
Trails are riddles/clues etc, that can help you get hold of very high valued items, such as God armours, etc. The best rewards
seem to happen from a puzzle in the Wilderness. Mage Arena is a giant Arena in very high Wilderness, that is like a
mini quest as well. After you have done the Quest, you can cast 3 new spells. For more information see this very good guide.
Mage Arena by TheExtremist:::::::::::::::::::: V. OthersThere isn't too much to say really, except that there are underground
caves, and there is also a Wilderness Dungeon that you can access by going into Edgeville Dungeon and keep going North as
far as you can. At the end of this cave there are black demons and an Earth and Air obelisk. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- D. Training in the WildernessI. CombatIn the Wilderness,
there are many places where you can train. I recommend you train at Zombies or Ice Giants(F2P), or Ice Giants,Ice Spiders,
and Giant Bats(members). II. WoodcuttingA wilderness without trees is like a skeleton without bones.
Basically, there are trees everywhere. Of course, they are only dead trees. I suggest training your woodcutting in low level
Varrock Wilderness, as shown by the map. III. FiremakingJust do the exact same as woodcutting above,
but burn your logs. IV.FishingThe best place to fish in the wilderness is Bandit Camp. Here you can
cook your fish in the everlasting fire, which isn't too far away as well. There is also a Lava Eel fishing spot in the Lava
Maze - I'll try and get a screenshot. V.CookingAgain, go to Bandit Camp for this. There you can buy
Pizza Bases, and there is a respawn of Cheese and Tomatoes. There is also a giant rat outside, so you can make Meat Pizzas.
And using the fishing spot will allow you to make Anchovie Pizza. VI.MiningThe best Places for mining
are undoubtably the Hobgoblin mine and the Skeleton mine. The Skeleton mine is South of the Dark Warrior castle. The Hobgoblin
mine is South of the Lava Maze. VII.Smithing The best way to smith is outlined in the map below http://img107.exs.cx/img107/8425/mine_smelt_smith.jpgVIII.PrayerFor prayer, go to the Chaos Temple in Varrock Wilderness, or go to the Bone Yard, in level
25-28 Wilderness. IX.RunecraftingThere is only one way to Runecraft, and unfortunately its for members,
sorry :) . Members can craft Chaos Runes in the Chaos Altar in level 7-9 Edgeville Wilderness. There is also another way
to craft runes, using the Abyss located at about level 5 Wilderness, towards the end of the River Lum. Many people hang around
here, trying to kill the runecrafters. More information on the Abyss can be found here. X.MagicFor training magic in the wilderness, I would go to the Graveyard, and use Crumble Undead on
the zombies there. Or you could go to the Bone Yard and use Crumble Undead on the many skeletons there. If you are a lower
level, why not go to the Dark Warrior/Knight's Castle; there are tons of runes there AND low leveled NPCs for you to kill. XI.RangedI
would suggest Training Ranged at the Hill Giants, in Varrock Wilderness, or Moss Giants in Edgeville Wilderness. I suppose
training Ranged on the Black Demons in Edgeville Wilderness Dungeon wouldn't go amiss as well. XII.Fletching
QUOTE(sturm)
for fletching, i could suggest making arrows... iron, steel, mith, and rune... the
trees are there, as well as the ores... all we need now are a knife, pickaxe, and feathers... Use
the Smithing method above to mine, smelt and smith. If you are going to do this, take about 5000 feathers with you,a bronze
pickaxe(so if you die you don't lose much), and a knife. Then cut trees down and make them into arrow shafts, add the feathers,
then mine-smelt-smith, until you are empty, then teleport out. I suggest you bring a Ring of Duelling, a bronze hatchet, a
bronze pickaxe, 5000 feathers and a knife. Then when you need to teleport out, run to level 20 Wilderness and teleport! If
you don't want to bring the feathersI also hear that there are headless Arrows in the Scorpian Valley in the North East of
the Members Wilderness. You could always go up there, get the arrows, get as many as you think you will want, then go to the
Mine-Smelt-Smith method used in the Smithing section above. XIII.CraftingFor crafting, the only useful
way I can think of is getting sapphires from the Spider Mound in High level F2P Wilderness, taking water and cosmic runes from
the ice plateau, taking Gold Ore from the Smelting area of the Mine-Smelt-Smith method and smelting it into a gold bar. You
can then make an sapphire amulet. Then use the cosmic and water runes to enchant the amulet into an amulet of Magic. However
if you do try this, bring an amulet mould and some wool with you. Do NOT use this way, because it's such a waste of valuable
time. Even if you're a member, you still have it no better. That's the only way I can think of to train crafting in the Wilderness XIV.ThievingIf
you are training thieving, the only way I would suggest is pickpocketing the Rogues in the Rogue Castle in High Wilderness.
There, you have the possibility of getting a lockpick, gold ore and loads of coins. XV.AgilityThe only
place to train agility in the Wilderness is at the Wilderness Agility training area. I suggest bringing a dragon dagger(p),
monks robes, boots of lightness and the rest of your inventory full of cakes. No pker is going to risk getting poisoned just
for some cakes. XVI.HerbloreIn the Wilderness there are many places to train Herblore. You can get your
White Berries from the Red Dragon Isle, receive herbs from monsters, get deadly red spiders eggs from the deadly red spiders,
get limpwurt roots from Hobgoblins, unicorn horns from unicorns etc. The Chaos Druids in the Edgeville Wilderness Dungeon
are extremely popular, due to them being in very low Wilderness, and they can also teleport quickly, or run out. The Chaos
Druids drop a variety of herbs, secondary ingredients and Vials of Water. XVII.SlayerIn the Wilderness
there are a variety of monsters you can train your slayer on, depending on if you get the monsters for your assignment. I
wouldn't recommend it, unless you are given Green Dragons, in which case, go to the dragons near the Hill Giants, don't go
to the ones near the Dark Warrior Fortress, because you are likely to be killed by Pkers. XVIII.FarmingThere
are no Farming patches or any place to train Farming in the Wilderness. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- E. Pk-ingPk-ing stands for Player Killing. The Wilderness
is the only place you can attack other players. I.ClassesThere are 3 main classes in the Wilderness. These
are Mages,Rangers and Warriors. There is also a Pking Triangle. a. MagesMages = Mages Mages
> Warriors Mages < Rangers b.RangersRangers = Rangers Rangers > Mages Rangers <
Warriors c.WarriorsWarriors = Warriors Warriors > Rangers Warriors < Mages There
is also a less commonly used class, the prayer beast. They use their protect prayers to try to outsmart all the classes. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::: II.What
food to bringI shall do this depending on your hitpoints. Of course, this depends on how many people are with
you. I am basing this on if you were fighting 1 vs 1 in solo pk. 10 - 20Use Trout. 21 - 30Use
Salmon. 31 - 40Use Tuna. 41 - 55Use Lobsters. 56+Use Swordfish. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- Members-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- 56
- 65Use Swordfish. 65+Use Sharks, Manta Ray or Sea Turtle. :::::::::::::::::::::::::: III.What
Armour to bring/wear.So, you're gonna go PK-ing, and you want to go for a lot of profit. If you're level 60+,
do you go out in Bronze armour? No, of course not! Nobody else will wear bronze armour, they'll be most likely wearing Rune
Armour, or at the very least, Adamantite. If you're going to go PK-ing, go with your best armour. However, only go
if you can afford to lose it. Therefore, you will not be moaning over losing your only set of Rune which it took you 5 months
to get hold of. When going Pk-ing, make sure you can afford to lose EVERYTHING you bring with you. Have enough money
in the bank to buy back everything you take with you. If you can't afford to lose it, don't go pk-ing. Anyway... On
F2P:Warriors should be wearing all the best armour and weapons they have. Never wear Bronze, because most pkers
at even level 3 have Iron Armour. They should also wear an Amulet of Power. Mages should wear Blue Wizard Hat, Blue
Wizard Clothes and Monks Robe(bottom). They should also wear leather boots and leather gloves. They should also bring in an
elemental staff. They should also wear an Amulet of Magic, and be wielding a antidragonbreath shield. They should make sure
autocast is turned also. Rangers should wear Green Dragon Hide Armour, all of it they can get. They should be wearing
a leather coif. They also should be wearing an Amulet of Power. They should also be using an Maple Shortbow, with Adamantite
Arrows. On members:Warriors should be wearing all the best armour and weapons they have. Never wear
Bronze, because most pkers at even level 3 have Iron Armour. They should also wear an Amulet of Glory. A Super Set would come
in handy too. If you are aiming to poison, use a Dragon Dagger, with the best poison on it. Use Barrows armour if you can
afford it, especially the Barrows set which allows you to hit high numbers, I believe it is Dharoks. Mages should be
wearing Splitbark Armour or Mystic Robes , and using an elemental Enchanted Mystic BattleStaff or a Lava Battlestaff so you
can cast snare spells and blast spells. A Magic Potion would come in handy too. You should only really PK if you are using
Wave Spells, God spells, or Iban Blast(which can hit 25s). Rangers Should be using a Magic Shortbow, and Rune or Adamantite
Arrows. They should also be using Black Dragonhide armour, with a Ranging Potion. Use Karils Crossbow and bolt racks if you
can afford it. :::::::::::::::::::::::::: III.Clans and WarsMany people are part of a group called
a clan. About 80% of these clans have Pking trips and Wars. There are many clans everyone has heard of, such as DI,Anarchy,EOH,
etc. There are many clans being formed each day, and you can apply to be in one of them by going to the Clans Board on this
forum. There are many requirements for clans, so you're sure to find one. Before you join a clan however, make sure you are
active, because NO clans wants members who are inactive. When I say active I mean go on RuneScape at least twice a week, and
not for just 5 minutes. Many Clans hate eachother, such as the rivalry between DI and Anarchy. Therefore for example,
if DI said something nasty about Anarchy, they might go to war against them. A war involves the clans sometimes calling on
their allies to help them defeat the opposing team. Many Wars take place on a f2p server, at the Greater Demons. Also,
wars are obviously mainly in multicombat areas, around the Greater Demon Hut and Members Gate. Non-multicombat wars are usually
held at the Deadly Red Spiders. The war could have certain rules on it, such as warriors only, or acertain amount of
people allowed to come. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- F.Misc.InformationI.MusicCertain Music can be unlocked
in the Wilderness, here are the songs that can be unlocked in the Wilderness: Army Of Darkness Attack 3 Attack

of these are wrong or if I have not placed some that should be on. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: II.AltarsThere
are 2 Altars for regaining prayer. There is the Chaos Temple in level 9-13 Wilderness. There is a temple just South of the
Ice Plateau in lvl 38 Wilderness. These are often used in Deathmatches. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: III.Rune
Respawns.Runes Respawn in the Wilderness. Air Rune: Dark Warrior Fortress Mind Rune: Dark Warrior Fortress,

90 Magic - Teleports you to the Greater Demons in Level 46 Wilderness. Ghorrock Teleport - Level 96 Magic - Teleports you
to the Frozen Waste Plateau where the Ice Giants are in level 44 Wilderness. There is also another way into the Wilderness,
a Waka Canoe. These can be crafted from Canoe trees, and require level 57 Woodcutting. When you arrive on the canoe in level
35 Wilderness, your canoe will sink, giving you no way back on the canoe. There are no Canoe Trees in the Wilderness. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::: V.
Item RespawnsMany items respawn in the Wilderness, many worth a little bit of money, others worth a lot. Here
is a table with the information on. IF any of these are incorrect, or you have more to add, feel free to PM me. The
items you can find are in BOLD, the locations are in ITALICS. It is also in Alphabetical order.
